Made in Los Angeles, this jacket pairs a structured 12oz American rigid Ring/Ring denim with a refined 7oz herringbone twill lining. Thoughtfully engineered gussets at the shoulder blades, finished with hidden elastic, allow a full range of motion without compromising the silhouette. Side buckle cinches allow for a tailored or more relaxed waistline, giving you styling versatility. The Jacket has a rigid and structured feel and takes a few wears for the denim to relax into something you can call yours.
-Self: 12 oz Rigid 100% Cotton American Ring Denim.
-Lining: 7 oz 100% Cotton Herringbone Twill.
-Imported Japanese Hardware.
-Buckle on both sides of the waistline.
-Hidden stretch gussets that allow increased range of motion in the pit to pit whilst still holding the shape
-2 front pockets with stitch and rivet detailing
-2 hidden side seam pockets
-Front and back pleating
What is Ring/Ring Denim?
Ring/Ring or Dual-ring is a traditional way of weaving denim used until the late 70s, where ring-spun yarn is used for both the warp and weft threads rather than just the warp. It gives the denim an uneven/unique white speckling throughout the denim, which won’t be the same on any two pairs. Speaking personally, this is my favorite denim I have worked with, and I am excited for you to see and feel it up close.
Care :
Wash as infrequently as possible by hand in cold water and hang-dry somewhere warm. Alternatively, if you are in between sizes, size up and wash once; the pants will shrink slightly in the wash.
DISCLAIMER* The pants are Raw Unsanforized Denim and stretch slightly with wear and shrink somewhat with wash. If you prefer to wash your jeans frequently, I recommend sizing up.
